After cutting the foam to fit the cushion, a layer of Dacron® is added to enhance comfort and softness.

Dacron® is a synthetic fiber that creates a plush feel and adds a protective layer around the foam, preventing it from shifting or compressing too quickly. For those looking for a luxurious touch, a new layer of down or down alternative can be layered over the Dacron®.

This provides an upscale, cozy feel, making the cushions invitingly soft. Finally, new pillow stuffing is carefully packed around the edges of the foam and Dacron, ensuring a full and fluffy look.

The cushions are then re-inserted into their casings, and any zippers or closures are secured. By following these steps, you can rejuvenate your sofa and chair cushions, making them both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
